1. Methodological information:

o Description of methods used for data collection and generation
The data was collected while conducting uniaxial tensile tests on textile-reinforced concrete with varying concrete cover and surface finish.
The load was applied displacement controlled using a universal hydraulic testing machine. Data that comes from that machine is the applied displacement and measured load 
Deformations of the specimens were measured using digital image correlation on the front and side of the specimens.

o Description of methods used for data processing
The DIC measurements were processed with GOM correlate 2019. For every specimen the strains were computed for the front and the side of the specimens. 
Measurments were taken in the program and exported as a .csv file:
Front surface
- front length of specimen measured in the middle of the specimen (Fläche)
- crack widht of every crack on the front surface (Fläche Rissbreiten)
- strain profile in longitudinal direction the middle of the front surface right before failure (Fläche Schnitt)
Side surface
- strain profile in longitudinal direction right before failure measured 5 mm from top (Kante Längsschnitt 1 oben) and 5 mm from bottom (Kante Längsschnitt 2 unten)
- length of specimen measured 5 mm from top and bottom of the side surface (Kante Längsschnitte Kurvenlänge)
- measured deformation every 8 mm in transverse direction to detect splitting cracks (Kante Multischnitt Kurvenlänge)

o software or instrument-specific information
to process and merge the csv.output from the DIC measurements and the testing machine Matlab was used.
The merged and condensed data is stored as 00_data_all.csv in this dataset

o Definitions of codes and symbols
The data for every specimen are numbered according to the sequence of testing. The number and day of testing is given as prefix in the extracted data from the DIC measurements.
