Technical Information
Full Quality
The dataset consists of a Blender (Version 4.5.1) file, containing the model of the tomb of Meret-Neith, created with photogrammetry and supplementary infrastructure for lighting and rendering. The file is structured into collections with the following main groups:
- the photogrammetry model, separated into the central structure, individual auxiliary chambers and connecting segments
- artificial modeled elements (sand) for rendering and 3D printing
- supplementing infrastructure (cameras, lights) for rendering specific views
All elements are named according to their role and purpose. Refer to the scene graph for specific details.
Realtime Quality
The dataset consists of a collection of Wavefront .obj files with respective .mtl files and textures exported from the photogrammetry model of the tomb of Meret-Neith. The two top folders separate the central structure and the auxiliary chambers. Each model shares a common world space, allowing the assembly of the entire structure without additional need for positioning.
The models are reduced to a face count that allows real-time stereoscopic rendering in game engines on commodity hardware, as per 2025 standards.
